Thank you very much for your interest in our Silver-Skin^® on-line shop. The following conditions apply with regard to orders and processing of such.

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions apply in their respectively valid version in as far as you use our in-line shop and order products. We can only accept deviating conditions specified by you if such deviating conditions are expressly agreed with you in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

With your order you submit an offer regarding the conclusion of a sales contract. You will then receive a confirmation of order from us via e-mail confirming the order you have placed with us. The sales contract is only concluded upon shipment of the goods ordered to you and the confirmation of shipment via e-mail. We expressly reserve the right to accept your offer regarding the conclusion of a contract.

At the moment, orders and deliveries are only possible within Germany. The products are only sold in quantities common for households.

3. Minors

We do not offer products for sale to minors. Our products for minors can only be bought by persons over 18 years of age. If you are not yet 18 years old, you may only visit and use our on-line shop together with a parent or legal guardian. 

4. Right of revocation, instructions regarding revocations, consequences of revocation

Right of revocation

You can revoke your declaration of intention (order) in writing (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) – or, if the product is conveyed to you before the expiry of the relevant period, by returning the product - within a period of two weeks without specifying reasons. Said period shall commence upon receipt of this instruction in writing; however, it shall not commence prior to receipt of the products by the recipient or prior to the fulfilment of our information obligations according to art. 312c paragraph 2 BGB [German Civil Code] in conjunction with art. 1 paragraphs 1, 2 and 4 BGB-InfoV [German Ordinance on Obligations to Provide Information and Records under the German Civil Code]. Dispatching of the notice of revocation or of the product in due time shall be sufficient to ensure compliance with the revocation period.

Consequences of revocation

In the event of an effective revocation the services received by both sides shall be returned and any uses which might have been effected shall be surrendered. If you cannot return the product received in its entirety or in part or in case you can only return such to us in a deteriorated state, you shall compensate the lost value with regard to this. In the event of the return of the products, this shall not apply if the deterioration in value is exclusively due to their inspection – in a manner which would e.g. also have been possible in a shop. Apart from this you can avoid the obligation to provide compensation for the loss in value caused by the proper use of the product by not using the product like your property and dispensing with anything affecting its value. Products which can be shipped in packages shall be returned at our risk.

You shall defray the costs of the return if the products delivered correspond to the products ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed a total of EUR 40 or, in case of a higher price, if you have not yet provided the consideration or a partial payment agreed on in the contract at the time of revocation. Otherwise, the return is free of charge for you. Obligations to reimburse payment have to be fulfilled within a period of 30 days. Said period shall commence upon the dispatch of your declaration of revocation or of the product for you, while it shall commence upon receipt thereof for us.

5. Reservation of ownership

Until full payment the goods remain the property of Innovation Vertrieb Beratung Inh. Barbara Boss.

6. Non-acceptance of orders

Innovation Vertrieb Beratung Inh. Barbara Boss reserves the right not to accept on-line orders. The decision on this shall lie at the exclusive discretion of Innovation Vertrieb Beratung Inh. Barbara Boss and would be communicated to the orderer forthwith if applicable.

7. Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, the goods shall be delivered to the delivery address specified by the orderer. Possible information provided by us regarding delivery periods shall be non-binding unless a delivery date is bindingly agreed between your side and our side as an exception.

8. Care instructions

Our care instructions are provided as a download at www.silver-skin.eu and in your product’s folding box. These instructions have to be read carefully before the product is used and the information contained therein has to be complied with. We do not accept any liability for cases of damage/injury caused by improper handling or misuse. 

9. Returns

Because of the special composition of the products and the fact that these are products which might get into contact with very sensitive skin we would like ask for your understanding that products delivered correctly cannot be returned after they have been used (washed and/or worn) for reasons of hygiene. This is certainly also in your interest.

10. Warranty

The statutory warranty provisions apply. Defects on the products which are attributable to natural wear, improper use and/or a lack of care or incorrect care are exempt from the warranty.

11. Due date and payment, default

The following types of payment are available:

• Prepayment
• Cash on delivery for orders within Germany
  Additional charge of €4.00 on the price of the package
  plus delivery charge of € 2.00 upon forwarding of the products to the transport service provider 
• Invoice for orders within Germany possible from the third order
• Payment via Paypal
• Payment via DIRECTebanking

If prepayment is selected, the purchase price can be remitted to the account kept by Innovation Vertrieb Beratung Barbara Boss by specifying the order number (confirmation of order). For security reasons the data regarding the account is communicated to you with your invoice.

The prices specified at the time of the order are applicable. All prices comprise the valid statutory sales tax.
In case of a delay of payment, which is contrary to our expectations, we are entitled to demand default interest to the statutory amount. If a higher damage than this can be proven to have been caused by the default in payment, we are entitled to assert such damage.

12. Shipping costs

Please consider that shipping costs are incurred for every order. If delivery is effected with partial deliveries, shipping costs have to be paid only once. We do not request a basic minimum order value.

If the customer requests special modes of transport (e.g. express shipping), he/she shall communicate this in advance and assume the additional costs incurred. All goods are delivered by DPD. In all cases, the buyer shall directly pay the costs of transportation upon a request to that end. Shipping is effected using the channel which is most cost-effective from our site under consideration of commercial aspects. As soon as the goods leave our forwarding office, the risk of change and deterioration of the object devolves on the buyer. Said party is obliged to examine each shipment for damage in transit and discernible defects upon its arrival and to report defects to us by providing a description of the defect which should be as precise as possible in writing or via fax within a preclusion period of 14 days.

13. Applicable law

This contract is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany to the precautionary exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If and in as far as reference to other web sites is made on our pages, we hereby expressly state that we do not have any influence on the design and the content of the pages to which a link is established. For this reason, we expressly distance ourselves from all contents or linked web sites of third parties and do not appropriate these contents. 15. Data protection

The data required for the execution of the contract is saved and processed electronically or manually. In the context of order processing data might be exchanged with credit rating agencies for the purpose of credit checks if required. Further details are provided in the separate privacy statement.
